[Chinese and foreign toy network May 9, 2017] January 25, 2017, the United States Consumer Product Safety The Committee (CPSC) voted to allow ASTM F963-16 to be a mandatory toy standard. A week later, CPSC issued a direct final rule and established a new Code of Federal Regulations 16 CFR 1250 to regulate the toy safety standard ASTM F963-16. The public consultation on this rule ended on March 6, 2017. CPSC has received significant comments on the new requirements for projectile toys: the kinetic energy density requirement will be applied to projectile toys with energy exceeding 0.08J. The ** new version of the regulations came into effect on April 30, 2017. In this case, all toys manufactured on or after April 30, 2017 must comply with ASTM F963-16. CMA Testing is the testing organization accredited by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to carry out ASTM F963-11 standards.
