The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine recently conducted random inspections on 39 categories of products. Among them, 6 batches of toys were found to be unqualified. Among them, one batch in Dongguan was unqualified. The reason for the disqualification was that the 'tip' of the toys did not meet the standard. It is reported that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine is conducting random inspections on 195 batches of toy products produced by 195 enterprises in 6 provinces and municipalities including Guangdong, including 5 varieties of plastic toys, electric toys, doll toys, metal toys and projectile toys. The spot check found that 6 batches of products did not meet the requirements of the standard. The companies involved were Yangzhou Qile Toys Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Longwan Puzhou Dake Stationery Factory, Wenzhou Lucheng District Liming Pioneer Stationery Factory, Guangdong Five Star Toys Co., Ltd., Kaishenglong Toys Factory in Chenghai District, Shantou City, and Fudakangcheng Plastic Factory in Shijie, Dongguan City. The unqualified items are mostly concentrated on sharp points, protrusions, tips, names and addresses of producers and distributors, fonts and font size items for safety warnings. For example, the toy 'Beast View' produced by Dongguan Shijie Fudakangcheng Plastic Factory has a specification model of '128530' and a production date of '2013/11/15' because of the 'cutting edge, safety warning font and font size'. The project is unqualified.
