According to foreign media reports, the Eurasian Economic Union recently announced a new regulation for toy products, requiring that toy products sold in the market of member countries must provide an EEA safety certificate, otherwise sales are prohibited. The plan will be from July this year to 2022. At the end of the year, it will be piloted in Eurasian countries. The president of the Children's Products Association warned that some unknown manufacturers, low-priced products without safety certificates will be prohibited from entering the Russian market. In addition, the implementation of the new requirements will also discourage small companies that purchase cheap imported toys in bulk. Experts believe that the plan will affect the sales of Chinese toys below 300 rubles in Russia. AliExpress said that all products on the website have the necessary certificates, which are issued in accordance with the laws of the country of production. At the same time, the Children's Products Industry Association pointed out that different countries have different requirements for toy safety. This regulation is currently only in the experimental stage and only involves certain types of commodities: dolls, toy cars, dolls, building blocks, musical instruments, balls, adult educational toys (Luban locks), board games, party supplies (including paints, paints) . The Eurasian Economic Union stated that it has not yet made a final decision on the plan, but the documents for the implementation of the experimental project are ready.
