Toys not only evoked his memories of the good times in his childhood, but also inspired him to create, so he decided to create 34 toy oil paintings to recall his childhood. A 32-year-old painter from Cheshire, England, Joe Simpson (Joe Simpson) has created a series of toy-themed oil paintings, hoping to evoke childhood in people's hearts. When I was little, I took the Batman model with me to school. After 20 years, the good memories they bring to me are always there. It's time for me to become a child and play with them happily again. Joe said with emotion. In order to better reflect the material and texture of the toy, he decided to use oil paintings for creation. Each painting takes several weeks to complete, and the entire creative project takes more than a year. The themes of his creation include characters from familiar films such as 'GhostbustersWhether you are a post-70s, post-80s or post-90s generation, you can feel the breath of childhood coming towards you, returning to the happy time in the past. It is reported that Joe decided to hold an art exhibition in the old brewery at Brick Lane Market in London in February 2017, when 34 oil paintings will be seen with the public for the first time.
